We take great care to assure that any personal information you give to us under this research protocol is protected. Protection of your data is accomplished at many levels including:
 

  • Protocol approval by the University of Pennsylvania's Institutional Review Board. This group consists of scientist and non-scientist who are responsible for reviewing all study protocols to assure that the study meets all research guidelines set forth by the federal government.   • Storage of your blood specimen by study number only.
     
  • Your name is fully removed from the sample
